The problem of hair loss and thinning has become common problem nowadays. Everyone wants their hair to be long, dense and bright, but due to lack of nutrients in the diet and hormonal imbalance, our hair development stops, becomes lifeless and thin, due to which we feel embarrassed and some of us go towards depression and anxiety, we feel embarrassed due to less hair. So today we are telling you some home remedies that will definitely help you to cure hairfall.

Home remedies for tall and thick hair


Aloe Vera

A leaf or even a stalk of the aloe vera plant.
This is the basic traditional way of using aloe vera for treating hair growth and hairfall.
  • Firstly extract the pulp content from the leaf or stalk and rub into your hair.
  • Ensure your hair is already washed before you do this procedure.
  • Massage the pulp into your scalp in circular motions for sometime.
  • Leave it on for about 15 minutes, and then rinse with cold water.
Please repeat the process nearly thrice a week, in the morning after you have taken a head bath.
Aloe Vera plays a crucial role in balancing the pH levels of the scalp and hair. It penetrates deep into the scalp and hair, thereby promoting hair growth naturally.

Neem (Indian Lilac)

  • 12 – 15 dry neem leaves
  • A vessel containing water

  1. Boil the neem leaves in some water till the water level comes down to half its quantity.
  2. Wait for the mixture to cool down.
  3. Rinse your hair with this mixture prepared.
You can use this remedy as a last rinse after shampooing your hair. It can ideally be done once or twice every week.
Neem has excellent antibacterial properties that cures dandruff. This ensures the scalp is healthy and helps hair growth. It also stimulates blood flow to the skin, thereby nourishing the hair roots. Neem is even found to eliminate head lice and nits. 
Using neem in any form for hair can cause your eyes to start burn. So, be careful while washing off the neem water and ensure it doesn’t get into your eyes.

Amla (Indian Gooseberries)

  • 4-5 Indian gooseberries
  • 1 cup virgin coconut oil
OR
  • Indian gooseberries or oil
  • lime juice or coconut oil 

  • Boil the dried Indian gooseberries in coconut oil till the oil turns black. Wait for it to cool, and then massage your scalp with this oil.Leave it on for about 20 minutes, and then shampoo as usual.
  • Crush the amla fruit to extract its juice. Mix 2 teaspoons of this juice or amla powder with an equal quantity of freshly squeezed lime juice. Apply this on your scalp and allow it to dry. Rinse off with warm water.


Mix coconut oil and Indian gooseberry oil in equal parts. Add a few drops of lemon juice. Once a week, apply this mixture thoroughly on the scalp. Rinse off with water to fight hair loss.
You can follow this twice a week.

Amla is rich in vitamin C, a nutrient essential for the growth and strengthening of hair. Vitamin C also helps to build collagen that is vital for hair growth. Apart from this, vitamin C also helps absorb iron, thereby keeping your locks strong and healthy. Amla also helps prevent premature graying of hair. Amla is excellent for your hair.
Consuming it on a regular basis can be quite helpful in strengthening your hair follicles. It can also be applied topically in the form of juice or amla powder available at herbal stores.


Green tea


Green tea is very rich in antioxidants, which help boost hair growth and prevent hair loss. 

1. Soak two-three teabags in one-two cups of mild hot water depending on the length of your hair. 
2. When it cools, pour this over your scalp and hair, while gently massaging your head. 
3. Rinse with cool water after an hour.



Fenugreek seeds


Fenugreek or Methi seed is among the most effective home remedies to stop the hair loss. It repairs the hair follicles and helps in re-growth of the hair. 

1. Soak the fenugreek seeds overnight in water. 


2. In morning time grind it to a fine paste and apply it to your hair and scalp. 


3. Leave the paste on your head for about 20 minutes. 


4. You can cover your scalp using a cap to keep it moist. 


5. After 30 to 40 minutes, rinse it with normal water without using any shampoo.

6. Do it twice a week for a month to control hair fall.



So you can use above remedies according to your choice that which remedy suits your hair and which is more beneficial to you. These home remedies have no or near to no side effects and you will not waste your money in chemicals which will only damage your hair.
